Role Overview

As a Senior Web Engineer, you will:

• Build and optimize real-time web applications using React.js
• Develop and maintain frontend components and backend services
• Work closely with API and Engine teams to integrate new features
• Ensure high performance, security, and smooth user experience
• Collaborate with traders, product managers, and engineers

Responsibilities

• Develop BitMEX’s web frontend and React components
• Design new features, fix bugs, and optimize performance
• Maintain APIs for trading experiences (backend & frontend)
• Research and implement new technologies
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript (JS), Node.js, React, and TypeScript
• Familiarity with Flux architecture and performance optimization
• Ability to develop complex, data-driven applications
• Understanding of UX trends and new concepts
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
