User Research Intern

Coinbase Summer 2025 User Research Internship Application

At Coinbase, our mission is to increase global economic freedom through the power of crypto and blockchain. We’re seeking a passionate intern to join our User Research team for a 12-week internship in Summer 2025.

In this role, you will collaborate with researchers, designers, and product managers to tackle complex product challenges and contribute to enhancing the user experience on Coinbase’s platform. While a deep knowledge of cryptocurrency is not required, a basic understanding of it and Coinbase’s role in the ecosystem is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on research projects to explore product problems.
• Plan and execute research to address ambiguous product challenges.
• Create research reports to communicate findings and provide actionable recommendations.

Requirements:

• Strong interest in a career in user research.
• Knowledge of research principles (e.g., experimental design, usability testing).
• Self-motivated, with a positive, growth-oriented attitude.

Preferred:

• Pursuing a degree or certificate in a research-related field or extracurricular user research.
• Curious about how people interact with products and motivated to understand user behaviors.

Pay Transparency Notice: The target salary for this internship is $50/hour. Full-time offers from Coinbase include bonus, equity, and benefits.
