Role Overview

Join our web engineering team to build fast, real-time web applications using React.JS. Work closely with product managers, traders, and engineers to enhance our trading platform’s UI and backend services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize BitMEX’s web frontend and React components
• Design and implement new features, fix bugs, and improve performance
• Integrate with API and engine teams to enhance trading experiences
• Maintain and improve APIs for frontend and backend systems
• Explore new tech and contribute to architectural decisions
• Participate in code reviews and mentor junior engineers

Requirements

• Strong JavaScript expertise (JS performance optimization)
• Experience with NodeJS, React, and Flux architecture
• Proficiency in TypeScript/Flow
• Background in data-driven product development
• UX familiarity and curiosity for emerging UI trends
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred
